Min-Soo Smith brings more than 14 years of legal experience across a diverse set of practice areas to his role as a paralegal with the Haeggquist & Eck team. He began his career in 2006 as a legal assistant with Garrison & McInnis, where he quickly progressed to become a trial specialist for primarily insurance defense matters, and then spent five years working with the product liability practice group at Morrison & Foerster, where he assisted on multi-district litigation matters in federal court and coordinated state court actions throughout the U.S.
His vast experience also includes stints at West Coast Resolution Group, where he served as a case manager administrating mediations and a clerk for arbitrators for a wide range of business and litigation disputes, Reproductive Law Center, as a Paralegal for family formation contracts and associated family law matters, and Frisella Neilson APC, where served as a senior paralegal for probate and trust litigation matters.
Min-Soo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from University of California San Diego.
Min-Soo plays hockey in a local rec league and has competed in regional/international tournaments. In addition, he is a single-digit handicap golfer, taking full advantage of Torrey Pines as his “home course.” In his leisure time, Min-Soo has embarked on a musical journey learning the songs of yesterday and today on guitar, and enjoys creating overly elaborate desserts to everyone’s delight.
